Health Services

Helping patients with their health needs is the priority of more than 650 staff who form the Wairarapa District Health Board's clinical care community.

This is an exciting period for our staff, as we evolve our medical services in our newly constructed $30 million hospital.

As well as the new hospital, Wairarapa DHB funds a wide range of health services in the region, through contracts with a variety of agencies and organisations.

In this section of the website, you will find out about the services which are provided by the DHB.

If you or a family member is feeling unwell and you're not sure what to do, call Healthline on 0800 611 116. It's free and available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Registered nurses will offer advice on what to do.

Healthline also offers a Well Child telephone advice service for parents and caregivers of under five year olds with questions about parenting or health matters. For more information visit www.healthline.co.nz
